This week I travelled to Aylseford, Kent to see a sex robot for myself. Vibez Adult Boutique is the only adult store in the UK to sell a sex robot. The sex robot on sale there is Samantha, which was designed and created by Synthea Amatus.
On the week in which I visited the store, Samantha was not working so could not speak or interact with me - despite this it was still interesting to see a sex robot in person.
I also met Vibez Adult Boutique owner, Tracey Whitmore, who spoke about the sales of sex robots and who buys sex robots.
Arran Lee Squire is a sex robot user and is the co-founder of the sex robot design company Synthea Amatus. Arran Lee Squire used to own Samantha and has since given her to Vibez Adult Boutique for display in their store.
